Archbishop Gregory to Celebrate Mass on Monday, 23 January

Please join Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory for a Rosary for Life at 09:30am and the Mass for the Unborn at 10:00am on Monday, January 23rd at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, 48 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Atlanta, 30303. The Mass will memorialize the anniversary of the legalization of abortion on demand in the United States.

The complete schedule begins with a Mass and Fundraising banquet on Friday, 20 January and continues with a Rise Up for Life Pro-Life Lock-In for Teens Sunday-Monday 22-23 January.

On Monday, 23 January, there's a 09:30AM Rosary for Life at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, followed by the 10AM Mass for the Unborn celebrated by Archbishop Gregory.

The Mass precedes the Together for Life memorial service held at noon on the State Capitol steps. (The State Capitol is one block from the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.) The Memorial Service is sponsored by Georgia Right to Life, a nondenominational prolife organization.

At the conclusion of the Memorial Service, you can join in a police-escorted silent walk for about one mile, beginning and ending at the Capitol steps. 

St. Catherine's parish will have available one bus to provide free transportation to the events this year.  The bus will leave St. Catherine of Siena at 07:30AM and return at 2:30PM.

MARTA Access

You can use MARTA to bring your family to this Mass for the Unborn and Silent Walk.

The Shrine of the Immaculate Conception is only 3 blocks west of the Georgia State MARTA Station that is located underneath the Sloppy Floyd state office towers, with an entrance on Piedmont Avenue just half a block north of MLK, the street on which the Shrine is located.
